Adopt-a-family program
Each year Family Business expresses our gratitude to service members and local families through our holiday "Adopt-A-Family" program, where we provide clothing, toys, essential items, and financial support to families in need. This year our organization will be providing for 5 families to give them a memorable holiday. We hope you can join us in helping us reach our goal for the 2024 year!

Adopt a family 2024
This year, we have the honor of supporting 5 families during the holiday season. Families have faced extremely challenging circumstances this year. Some children have experienced the death of a parent while others are starting over in a new home due to domestic violence. Others are new to the country and rebuilding their lives after facing hardship in their home country. Each and every parent is working hard to provide for their families. Some parents even working four jobs to make ends meet. Our goal this winter is to provide families with clothing, household essentials, and toys to help them enjoy the holidays stress free with the people they love! We hope you can support us in this goal!

How it started
The founders of Family Business began the Adopt-A-Family program 6 years ago with the goal of assisting families in need during the holidays. With the help of our supporters, our program has grown each year, allowing us to assist more families and increase our impact. The funds collected are used to buy each family essential household items such as cleaning supplies and cookware, as well as toys and clothes for the children. We hope that you will join us in this tradition of giving back to those in need.

$2,500 raised for a grandmother and her grandson transitioning from a housing shelter to their own home!
$5,000 raised for a single mother and 4 children transitioning from a housing shelter to their own home!
2019
$11,000 raised for a veteran diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and his 5 children and a veteran recovering from a debilitating accident and her son.

Over $11,000 raised to support a single mother and her 5 children facing financial hardship during the pandemic.
