Community Goods Distribution

The needs of our community are ever-changing. Our team takes on several projects each year to help fill the gaps in our community.

February 2020

Takeya Water Bottle Drive- our team handed out 180 water bottles donated by Takeya to Bridge Academy students to help ensure all students stayed hydrated during the day, despite not having water fountains at their school.

May 2020

Healthcare Heros Appreciation- Thank you to the Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation for awarding us funding from the Covid-19 Rapid Response Fund; we showed appreciation for the healthcare workers at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital by providing them 200 meals.

August 2020 & May 2021

As part of Hanes Million Mask Mission, Family Business distributed 5,000 masks to six different shelters and organizations across Connecticut.

February 2021

When an apartment fire displaced nearly 50 people in Hamden and left them without their belongings, our team was able to provide them with coats donated from Eddie Bauer through One Warm Coat and clothing donated by Hanes.

March 2021

Over 120 articles of Hanes clothing donated to North End Middle School's Uniform Clothing Bank in Waterbury. Not having to worry about basic needs, such as clothing, helps enable students to better focus on their school work and academic success.
