Did you Know?

Socks are the most requested yet least donated item among homeless shelters. Our team started Operation Little Steps to help ensure that housing insecurity individuals receive new socks each year. Through our partnership with Hanes and Bombas, we are able to bring socks to those most in need bi-annually.

Summer 2020

During our first year of Operation Little Steps, our team donated a total of 3,000 socks to six different shelters and organizations across Connecticut.

Fall 2021

1,000 socks distributed at the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen.

Winter 2021

Family Business distributed 4,500 pairs of Bombas socks to individuals facing housing insecurity at local shelters, winter warming centers, schools, and community refugee centers.
